Falaknuma Palace: what the brochures leave out
Falaknuma is a genuine Nizam palace 2,000 feet above Hyderabad, reached by a winding ghat road with vehicle-size restrictions — large buses cannot climb it. The palace runs a limited number of events and its terraced lawns suit intimate-to-mid-scale ceremonies with a view, not five-hundred-guest receptions. Book it for the ceremony and the photographs; run the reception down the hill.
