A catamaran from Gateway of India puts your guests on the Konkan shore in an hour. Casuarina groves, red laterite estates, Kolaba Fort in the sea — and weddings for 60–150 guests where intimacy is the entire design, not a budget compromise.

The photographs matter. So does what families remember from a well-planned luxury wedding: parents staying calm, guests feeling looked after, budgets staying visible and functions beginning on time.
“The team's preparation allowed us to enter every celebration with confidence and leave with only good memories. That is the real measure of good planning.”
Raghav & Radhika
02Vishal & Khushboo“Elite understood that we did not want a sequence of events. We wanted a weekend that felt like a natural extension of who we are. They made that happen without us having to explain it twice.”

These couples trusted us. Their Alibaug weddings were planned with one accountable team, one flat fee and zero vendor markups.
Couples planning 60–150 guests who want a genuine beach-escape without asking guests to fly — the Konkan coast, private estates, casuarina-shaded lawns and the ferry crossing as the opening moment of the celebration.
Catamaran schedules, monsoon beach conditions, smaller venue capacities, road transfers from Pune, sound and fire permissions at each property — all need advance planning before a date is held.
Elite plans venue fit for your count, coordinates catamaran and road transfers, manages boutique-property room blocks, handles weather contingencies and runs the full wedding week from one accountable office.
Owner-approved notes from Elite-planned weddings in Maharashtra and nearby coastal destinations. What families tell us stays with us — not on listing platforms.

Room block, vendor coordination, guest arrivals and wedding-week management
A 1-hour catamaran from Gateway of India turns the journey into the first wedding event — guests arrive together on the water, not scattered across terminal gates.
60–150 guests is where Alibaug's boutique properties shine: private estates, casuarina lawns and beachfront venues that feel personal rather than like a resort banquet.
Konkan laterite soil, red-roofed bungalows and casuarina groves give Alibaug a visual character distinct from Goa's Portuguese-colonial heritage or Rajasthan's palace sandstone.
Kolaba Fort — the 17th-century sea fort visible from Alibaug Beach — provides a backdrop for evening cocktails or sangeet that no purpose-built resort can replicate.
Beaches at Nagaon, Akshi, Kashid and Kihim each have their own character: wider lawns, quieter stretches, different wind angles — the right one depends on your function type.
No flight bookings for the Mumbai third of your guest list, which is typically the largest cohort — the catamaran handles them together in under an hour.

A wedding in Alibaug should feel unhurried — every hour planned so your family can simply be present.
Red laterite underfoot, casuarina shade overhead, Kolaba Fort on the horizon — and 80 guests who arrived together on a catamaran. The story of an Alibaug wedding is intimate by the geography.
Ready to plan your Alibaug wedding?
Catamaran schedules, road convoy timing from Pune, property sound curfews, monsoon beach contingencies and boutique-estate room blocks all need a plan before your family arrives at Mandwa Jetty.
Alibaug's coastline runs north to south across Raigad district. Each stretch has a different personality and venue cluster. The right choice depends on your guest count, arrival route, desired seclusion and function type.
Alibaug's properties are boutique by nature — private estates, casuarina-facing beachfront resorts and laterite bungalow compounds rather than large hotel blocks. The right fit depends on guest count, which beach, proximity to the jetty and how much privacy your family wants.

Alibaug's best venues are estates and small resorts, not large hotel blocks. We know which properties can hold your count, which have generator backup, and which beach timings and sound rules apply before you sign.
Most Alibaug guest lists split between ferry and road arrivals. We plan both streams — catamaran schedule from Gateway of India, pickup at Mandwa Jetty, road convoys from Pune and outstation — so no guest waits alone.
Alibaug properties have smaller capacities than Goa resorts. We confirm your count against the venue's real ceiling before a date is blocked, so you are not surprised on the day.
Catering, decor, sound and lighting providers who understand Alibaug's estate quirks — generator dependency, beach access hours, monsoon contingency — are sourced and contracted before the wedding week.
Our planning fee is quoted at the start and stays separate from vendor billing. You see every invoice; we take no commission from venue or vendor.
November to February is Alibaug's peak wedding window — pleasant temperatures, low humidity and minimal rain. March and October are shoulder months: manageable but variable. June to September is full monsoon; beach functions are impractical and most open properties become indoor-only. Always plan a covered backup space, regardless of the month.
The Ro-Ro catamaran from Gateway of India reaches Mandwa Jetty in approximately one hour — Elite books group passages and organises jetty pickup. Road guests from Mumbai take the Mumbai-Goa highway via Alibag Road (~2–2.5 hours without traffic); Pune guests drive approximately 3–4 hours. We coordinate convoy timing and pickup points for both streams.
Alibaug venues suit 60–150 guests most comfortably. A few properties can handle up to 200 at a stretch — confirm those numbers before shortlisting. Room blocks are smaller than Goa resort blocks; many families supplement with villa rentals or nearby bungalow clusters. We map that accommodation plan as part of shortlisting.
Beach functions in Maharashtra require advance permission from the local authority; Elite manages the timeline and paperwork. Sound curfews vary by property and distance from the beach. Bon fires, fireworks and late-night music have specific rules at each venue — we confirm these before you commit to a programme.
Alibaug weddings typically cost less per head than Goa on venue and logistics — smaller properties, shorter transfers and no flights for Mumbai guests keep some cost centres lower. Boutique estate rental pricing, however, can run high on a per-room basis for guests staying on-site. What you save on catering and transfer you may partially reinvest in private estate buyouts and custom decor. Elite can outline a qualitative cost shape for your count and programme before the shortlist stage.
